Victors over the beast sing TWO songs

Those in heaven that have victory over the beast “sing the song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb....” (Revelation 15:2-3 KJV)

Those that sing this song do so from joy of heart. They acknowledge the commandments in the Word of both Old and New Testaments and confess they are good. They also sing of the Divine in the Lord’s Human, who is the Lamb of God: Jesus Christ.

Moses is from the days of the Old Testament. He gave the command to keep the Passover and live according to the 10 commandments. Those in ancient Egypt that put the blood of the lamb over their doorposts were saved from physical death as the destroyer passed over their house.

The Lamb is from the days of the New Testament. Jesus is our Passover Lamb, being sacrificed for us to atone for our sins. He also said he had a new commandment: Love one another. Those that keep this commandment will receive strength from God to keep the 10 commandments from Moses. And those who confess that the Lord Jesus Christ is the Lamb of God and believe in their heart that God raised him from the dead shall be saved from spiritual death.

Those that get the victory over the beast of this world:

1. Sing the song of Moses: Acknowledge the commandments of God and do them.
2. Sing the song of the Lamb: Confess that Jesus is Lord and believe in Him.

The beast conquers those who will not do both.

Some want to convince themselves that faith only will give them the victory and they do not need to live according to God's commandments. If so, why does it say in Revelation that those who have the victory sing not only the song of the Lamb, but also the song of Moses?

This is how the beast is conquered: Keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus. Trying to keep the commandments without faith, is not enough to overcome the beast. Thinking that faith alone will gain the victory is also not enough, because faith without works is dead. Both are required to be victorious over the beast: keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus.
