This morning I woke up remembering this dream. At the kitchen sink I was preparing to wash dishes. I looked out the window and saw the ground was white, covered in snow!

When I woke up, I wondered: what season is this? As I write this, we are in February. It is winter. So why was I astonished by snow in the dream? Because I knew it was summer! And that meant my garden was covered by snow. I have previously had similar dreams of snow in summer.

Imagine how much our food supply would be affected by snow in summer. Most of the plants would die in freezing temperatures. Snow in summer is not something I want. But seeing it, would cause many of those who are asleep to want to wake up.... And realize that God is our only hope of salvation. And He is the only Provider we can trust. A summer snow could contribute to famine conditions, that could cause a few to see their need for our God, helping them turn to God for salvation.

Our Father in heaven.... Give us this day our daily bread!
