The local church where I take part in a Bible study has a message screen in the hallway.



They are taking part in pagan traditions just like unbelievers.



They don't even want real eggs, the healthy kind that people could eat. Instead they want plastic containers in the shape of eggs that they can stuff with junk food (candy). This is what we are teaching our children? At Easter?

We Christians should be teaching children about the doctrine of the Lord Jesus Christ, but instead we get distracted with doing the same things that unbelievers do.... pushing children toward the Easter bunny and Santa Claus, two stories that confuse the minds of children and lead them away from the truth of God.

Children and everyone else would benefit from the truth instead.... The Son of God was born on Earth and was a child like all of us. That is the true Christmas story. He came to save us from our sins, but Jesus never sinned. He died on the cross so that we might be forgiven, if we turn away from our sins and follow him. Three days after he died, he rose from the grave. That is the true Easter story. He ascended to heaven and returns to rescue those who are found waiting faithfully for him.



Instead of hunting for plastic, we should be looking for Jesus and seeking the truth in the Word of God.



Birth - 5th Grade Even newborns are welcome to participate. For them, isn't small candy a potential choking hazard?

People do not give much thought into what they are doing and how they are spending their short lives on this earth. We have all made some dumb choices here, but it's time to wake up and come back to reality. Jesus it the Lord and he is returning to reward every man according to his works. If you want to be saved, turn away from lies and turn to the Truth.
