Forbidden website ~ after Linux Mint update

This is what happened to the Firefox browser after it was updated.

The solution was to delete all saved data. Deleting cookies only might have solved it.

I also saw this problem in the Falkon web browser after the Linux Mint update. It was easier to fix there:

Tools > Cookies Manager > Deleted cookies for website that was "forbidden".

An old web browser still worked without any problems, the Elinks text-only browser.

Other thoughts

This could be a form of soft censorship. Push updates that make certain websites no longer work.
