God prefers to speak to you with a still small voice. He can speak louder, but you would prefer he speak softer....
He prefers to show only mercy. Some, whose hearts are so hardened in sin, will respond to nothing short of complete disaster in their lives. God can arrange that and will.... out of love for those people that are on the path that leads to destruction.
