President Jovenel Moïse was assassinated on July 7, 2021. At that time, Haiti had not approved any COVID-19 vaccines for public use, though days after their president was killed, Haiti received its first COVID-19 Moderna doses via U.S./COVAX donation. They officially began the injections ~ July 16, 2021, only 9 days after their leader was removed.
No COVID Vaccine in Haiti, yet ZERO percent of their population has died from COVID.... why did they need a vaccine?
