More than a quarter of U.S. fresh produce comes from other side of "the wall"

Mexico is the largest exporter of tomatoes in the world.

Here is Grok's estimate for food coming from Mexico....

Grok had some ironic statements to share about this:

"1 in 4 lbs sneaks past the wall—legally."

"Raise the wall, kiss Mexican dining goodbye, gringos.”

"Wall rises, no more tacos for Americans—sorry."

"Seal the border, dream of Mexico’s ripe avocados."

What Mexico produces for Americans is far more than what all home gardeners in the entire USA produce, according to Grok's estimate:

I estimate that 5–7% of fresh produce in the United States comes from home or community gardens....

Compare that to the 27% of fresh produce sold in the United States grown in Mexico.

They say the wall will keep people out, but the wall could also keep food out of American bellies.
