Revelation 6:1-2 KJV And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying, Come and see. And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer.
The adversary perverted what God made. Sometimes we call it a "rainbow" but in the KJV Bible it is simply referred to as "bow".
Genesis 9:13 KJV I do set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be for a token of a covenant between me and the earth.
Revelation 6:2 was originally written in Greek, and people today who speak Greek use the word found in this verse, not for the weapon only, but for "rainbow".
The original Greek for "bow" in Revelation 6:2 is today used by those that speak the language for "rainbow".

So, the rider on the white horse was not carrying a weapon of war, and he had no arrows, but he carried the rainbow to deceive the world.
