is through his word. His word gives strength to the hearers so that they may receive eternal life. Without the word of God you lack the power to fulfill his commandments which are necessary in order to enter into life. When you hear it and do not reject it, you gain strength to keep his commandments.

The word of God became a man....

Jesus was the human manifestation of the word of God. There is no other way to God except through God's word. His word is spirit and it is life for your soul. Do you make time for his word? Or do you let the cares of this world distract you?

Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father but by me.
