Jesus never commanded anyone to build temples for him. All of the many "church" buildings around the world are not a sign of faith, but demonstrate unbelief in what the Lord actually taught.

Temples are a visible sign that man has forgotten his Creator.

For Israel hath forgotten his Maker, and buildeth temples; and Judah hath multiplied fenced cities: but I will send a fire upon his cities, and it shall devour the palaces thereof. Hosea 8:14 KJV

Man has not built these temples for the Lord, but for himself. Temples are for people, not for God! So we should not be surprised as we witness man-made temples being destroyed.
