Chinese Have Free Access to the Holy Bible

In America, China gets a bad reputation for being against Christians. But the same could be argued for America.

Did you know China is the world's largest publisher of the Holy Bible? And yet we are told it is difficult for its own citizens to access God's word there. This does not make sense to me: How could the world's biggest producer of printed Bibles also restrict access to the Bible to its own citizens? Is this even true? I decided to investigate.

The easy way these days is to ask AI. If you do, prepare to see China get bashed. You have to dig more to get to the truth.

What I discovered is that the Bible is freely available in China in the Chinese language, both in text and audio, and not blocked by the government at all, but accessible to anyone. Example.... the book of Revelation, chapter 13 in Chinese:

wordproject.org

Wordproject shares the entire Bible. The website is not blocked by the Chinese government. And it costs no money.

Another search found a Chinese website 9kus.com with this Bible verse on it:

“我赐给你们一条新命令,乃是叫你们彼此相爱,我怎样爱你们,你们也要怎样相爱,你们若有彼此相爱的心,众人就因此而认出你们是我的门徒了。”

This is the commandment given by Jesus, and translates to:

"I give you a new commandment: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are My disciples, if you love one another." John 13:34–35

While it may be true that the Chinese government regulates the sale of God's Word, they do not appear to block it from being distributed for free.''' Anyone in China can access God's word online without restriction. No one that wants the truth is denied access to the scriptures.

My opinion: American propaganda against China attempts to demonize them, so those who call themselves Christians will approve of doing evil toward China, even though Jesus explicitly said we should never repay evil with evil, but repay evil with good. Only the few Americans that have themselves read the Holy Word will even know that. It's possible there are more Christians in China than are in America.

I just realized that the same website that offers the Bible in Chinese also offers it in English, with both text and audio.
