Alabama law requires every person in Tuscaloosa County to be X-rayed for Tuberculosis between the ages of 13 and 50 and Blood tested for Syphilis between the ages of 14 and 50.

They segregated blacks from whites, but they tested BOTH. And they frightened all people, both white and black, by leading them to believe it was a law.

Years later, they continued to urge people to give their blood to the government for testing.

At the clinic on campus for blacks (today called Tuskegee University), 399 men with syphilis were given fake treatments and were told they were receiving treatment, but in reality, they were not.

I am surprised this university is still in business and people still want to go to school there. Their campus was used to deliberately mislead black men about medical treatment for their sexually transmitted disease.

And before we incorrectly conclude that this is all in the past and the government of our generation would never do such a thing....

Fake Hepatitis Vaccine Program

Few probably know about the fake vaccine program run by the CIA.
