A Worker Sees Hell
The following experience is intended to provide insight into hell:
A worker at a dam fell 10 meters down. The next thing he knew was that he was standing near the shore of a great ocean of fire (see also Revelation 21:8: "... the lake that burns with fire and sulfur ...")
Let us let him report it himself: "I remember every detail and every moment of what I saw and what happened during the hour that I had left this world more clearly than anything that happened during my lifetime. We recognized each other, but we said nothing. Everyone stared and seemed deeply lost in thought, as if they could not believe what they were seeing. Dismay and confusion were reflected in their faces.
The scene was so terrifying that words fail. It cannot be described; unless one would say that we were already eyewitnesses to the Final Judgment. There was no escape route, no way out. No one even tried to look for one. This is the prison from which no one can escape—unless through the intervention of God. I said aloud to myself: 'If I had known anything about this, I would have done everything possibly imaginable to escape it and not be brought to such a place.' But I had not known."

As these thoughts flashed through my mind, I saw another man walking past us. I knew immediately who he was. He had strong, friendly features, full of compassion—composed and fearless—a master over everything he saw. It was Jesus himself.
A great hope seized me, and I knew the solution to my problem was this magnificent and wonderful personality who was passing by me here in this prison of lost, confused souls destined for judgment. I said just to myself: "If HE would only look in my direction and see me, he could free me from this place; he would know what to do."

I know that there is a lake of fire because I have seen it. I know that Jesus Christ lives in eternity. I have seen him. John describes in the Book of Revelation a "pool burning with fire and sulfur." That is the lake I saw, and I am certain of one thing: at the end of this age, at the Final Judgment, everything evil in the universe will be finally thrown into this lake and destroyed for all time.
I thank God for people who can pray. I heard Mrs. Brocke praying for me. She said: "O God, do not take Tom away, he is not saved." At that same moment, I opened my eyes.
