2024 tough year for gardening....

Azores agriculture hit by drought.... damage of up to 70% to crops of sweet potato, potato, cabbage, watermelon, cantaloupe melon, pepper, pumpkin, hemp and sweetcorn....

Here in Arkansas I lost 100% of my regular corn to animals. Only a tiny amount of organic popcorn I planted was spared.

100% of my muskmelons so far this year have also been eaten by animals.

100% of my squash plants died. Vine borers appeared to be the main cause of death.

It's a tough time to produce food. We should all prepare for famine. As for me, I put my trust not in man's agriculture, but in God to provide. He is able and willing to feed those with miracles that call in him. He fed the people that escaped Egypt during the time of Moses.... 40 years in the wilderness.... with manna: bread from heaven.

This year my garden has been able to produce tomatoes, okra, beans, and peppers.... and I thank God for that.
